I grew up in a home where creativity was part of everyday life. My mum is a fashion designer, and my dad loved music and tinkering with gadgets. I grew up around clothes, music, objects and people who made things with their hands.

That probably explains a lot about me.

I’ve always been drawn to the art of making things, and especially to the process of giving an idea its form. I love that design can shape how something looks, works and feels, and in turn, how we see and experience things around us. Over time, that became more than an interest. It became the work I wanted to do.

Today, I’m a Senior Product Designer with years of experience designing digital products across fintech, AI, cybersecurity, SaaS, healthcare, enterprise, social and and creative sectors. My work sits across UX design, product strategy, UX research, interaction design and engineering.

At Advansio, I led the design of COVr Branchless, an award-winning agency banking platform that went on to process over 25 million transactions and more than $5 billion in transaction value.

At Yana Finance, I led product design across lending and financial management products. I shaped experiences that grew to 120,000+ users and supported over $10 million in credit disbursements. My work was also instrumental in helping Yana secure funding and get into Techstars.

More recently, at Radical UK, I’ve been working across AI, finance, healthcare, SaaS, enterprise, and consumer products, including work for organisations such as Lloyds, the NHS, and Manchester’s Finest.

Over the years, I’ve designed and built web and mobile experiences, created open-source UI tools, while collaborating closely with engineers and other designers to take ideas from a note into something real.

I’m a firm believer that good form and function should be able to exist together.

Function comes first for me. I like restraint: removing what shouldn’t be there, giving important things space, and being deliberate about what gets attention. I also believe the world should be beautiful, and function shouldn’t be an excuse to remove that. There should be room for form, texture, personality and delight.

I try to make things work simply, then make them feel as good as they can.

That way of thinking extends beyond my work. It shapes how I live, what I surround myself with, and the things I choose to spend my time on.
